Green up your Government!

The current financial crisis is an excellent opportunity to combine saving the economy with changing it for the better. It doesn’t have to cost us anything more, we just have to steer the money in the good direction.

Currently most of our politicians try to use the crisis to steer away from strong climate policies, and do not use the opportunity at all. Just why is it that fuel-heavy car companies are so much in trouble? That our global economy is shaking but all efforts are in restoring the old system? That we are facing the horizon of a EU-backed new era of coal and nuclear power plants in Europe?

It is time to get the heat a bit up. This item should be much more political then it is now. When is the first government falling because they did not take enough responsibility? Where is the first neogreen government?
