Baacode: Meet the Sheep that Made Your Sweater

No it’s not the first of April and this is a serious thing. A New Zealand company called Icebreaker developed a tracking system called the Baacode to track back the farm where the wool of an individual sweater comes from.
Every garment sold comes with a unique id. When you type in the Baacode in on their website, “it will let you see the living conditions of the high country sheep that produced the merino fibre in your Icebreaker garment, meet the farmers who are custodians of this astonishing landscape, and follow every step of the supply chain.”
It’s a fun thing, and also without a sweater you can look around at the farms, see interviews with farmers, and in special environmental and ethics section see a short film per chain in the production. Creative and forward, meanwhile an excellent green up your company tool…
