Green Space Traveling?

Okay, I’m starting to get a bit used to all the eco-luxury lifestyle hyping, and if you anyway can’t resist big cars, why not have a “green hummer”? Or if you anyway want to waste your money on parties, fly to Ibiza to dance at a charity party at the Club4Climate ? But green space traveling, that’s just one bridge too far.

Some companies thought it a good idea to develop less polluting, “environmental benign” rockets for space tourism. Plenty magazine: “As private space tourism nears launch, some companies are climbing to new heights for less-polluting rockets”. Brilliant.

From the article: “Both Virgin and Xcor say that bringing the masses to space will have surprising benefits. Virgin magnate Richard Branson rhapsodized in a speech about how viewing the Earth from above could transform passengers, a phenomenon called the overview effect. Former astronauts have reported that the sight “helps one to wake up to the fragility of the small portion of the planet’s mass that we inhabit and to the importance of protecting the Earth,” Branson said.”

This is exactly what we need to save our planet! Just send everyone out with a rocket to get the overview!

For those not jet able to have this fantastic green space traveling opportunity, an even more eco friendly alternative is reading the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
