My vision for Grass Routes is to build a creative and innovative NGO, based on social and ecological values. I studied Humanistics in Utrecht (NL), gained experience in policy work and organizations, and realized diverse creative projects and productions, international arts and media exchanges, magazines, exhibitions, events, awareness campaigns and social actions.

Cecilia Palmér, Creative Director

“Courage is the power that makes you realize your ideas”

I am the designer of the green, open source fashion label Pamoyo, do the graphic and web-design for Grass Routes and support with artistic vision. I worked as creative director for Loesje International in Arnhem (NL) and Berlin (DE), coordinated several international projects and campaigns; studied courses in sustainable engineering in Sweden and arts and culture in France and gained experience with permaculture and sustainable agriculture.

I study political science and political philosophy in Amsterdam and worked as secretary-general of the Dutch young socialists. I have been working in several political and non-political youth organizations such as Loesje, Nivon, Association for Community Colleges, Dutch Young Socialists, Jugendbildungstätte Kurt Löwenstein.

Anouk Bolsenbroek, Treasurer

“Diversity in nature is a key to inspiration”

I majored in Humanism and Spiritual Counselling at the University for Humanistics in Utrecht (NL), where I gained experience in teaching and policymaking and wrote publications on inclusion, inclusive education and counselling. I trained young volunteers in developing education programs on nature and environmental issues for the IVN, a Dutch society for nature and environmental education. Deep ecology, earth education, storyline approach and worldviews are sources of inspiration.

I work for the foundation Loesje in Arnhem (NL), an NGO which strives to increase awareness of and create involvement by writing social-critical poster texts about various issues. I am coordinator of Mašta, the international magazine for creative activism. I have studied Social and Cultural Education and have been working for a foundation for international youth exchange called IJU.
